Live Review – Kate Nash @ Rescue Rooms, Nottingham 22/03/11
Walking into the relatively tiny, yet rammed Rescue Rooms on a sunny Tuesday evening, I was greeted with overheard conversations about boys, A level coursework and ‘D’ya reckon I can get served?’. It’s rarely a great gig when as a 20 year old you’re in the oldest 10% of the audience. However, for this evening’s festivities, the youthful musk of hormones and Impulse somehow manage to make some excellent performances even more magical.

In the last 10 or so years, it’s safe to say that the musical landscape of both the UK and the world has changed completely – the rise of the digital music age, internet journalism and the decline of the traditional record shop amongst many of the game changers since 2000.
